Richard's Story
Life
There is an old Chinese proverb that says, "May you have an interesting life." I have had a very interesting life thus far! I returned to Michigan and Oakland County in 1989 from Ventura, California. I have moved between Michigan and California twice so far. Who knows what the future holds. I tend to be "home" wherever I am. I love the southwestern desert and Alaska. Amsterdam is one of my favorite cities.
I love life and am having a blast, although it has been a bit of a roller coaster as well. I have "started over" more than once and have had experiences of great joy and great sorrow. re one lives or what kind of car you drive. It is about family and friends and love and the depth of the connections that exist between hearts.
My life journey has led me far and wide since growing up in Lake Orion, which was a wonderful experience in most respects.
Workplace
I am a full time minister and member of the Ministerial Team at Renaissance Unity Church in Warren, Michigan. Previously I had served Unity Church of Clare as Minister and before that was the Executive Administrator for Renaissance Unity Church (formerly The Church of Today) in Warren, Michigan.
I finally made the transition from Manufacturing to Ministry in 2001/2002. It only took me 25 years to make that journey since the first time I knew that is where I was supposed to be. Follow your heart!
